1 Hurt in San Juan Capistrano Motorcycle Accident
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA (March 29, 2019) – A motorcycle rider sustained injuries in a motorcycle accident on March 27 near the Candy Store.
The collision happened at 4:50 p.m. on Highway 74. The crash occurred west of the Candy Store between Lake Elsinore and San Juan Capistrano. According to reports, a motorcyclist threw a punch at a car and failed to turn left on Ortega Highway.
CHP revealed that two motorcycle riders tried to go around a silver sedan on the two-lane corridor. However, one of the motorcyclists threw a punch at the car for unknown reasons. As a result, the suspect failed to make a turn, and his vehicle rolled over.
The CHP also added that the sedan didn’t participate in the road rage and collision.
Due to the incident, CHP closed eastbound and westbound traffic while the medics worked. Unfortunately, the motorcyclist’s injuries and condition remain unclear.
Meanwhile, information about the second motorcyclist is unavailable.
