Motorcycle Rider Seriously Injured in San Diego 2-Vehicle Crash
SAN DIEGO, CA (May 13, 2019) – A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries after colliding with a car on the 805 Freeway Friday morning. According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred in the Lincoln Park area south of Imperial Avenue. Callers reported the incident on northbound 805 Freeway at about 6:45 a.m.
The crash involved a motorcycle and a Honda Civic which were northbound when they collided.
Emergency responders took the motorcyclist to a hospital for treatment of major injuries. No details released about the condition of the Honda driver.
The crash prompted the closure of the left lane of northbound 805 Freeway. It was reopened at around 7:25 a.m.
