34-Year-Old Man Injured in San Diego Motorcycle Crash
SAN DIEGO, CA (January 9, 2019) – On Tuesday night, 32-year-old motorcyclist was injured in a car collision on Kearny Mesa Road.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the accident occurred around 6:40 PM, just west of the 163 Freeway.
As per reports, the victim was riding a 2006 Suzuki GSX-R600 when a 56-year-old woman driving a 2000 Toyota 4Runner made a left turn out of the Hawthorne Center parking lot, causing the motorcyclist to crash into the SUV.
Paramedics arrived at the scene of the incident and transported the victim to a nearby hospital. He suffered serious injuries, but are not life-threatening. His current medical condition is unclear at this time.
Authorities stated the driver of the Toyota remained at the scene and cooperated with police. There has been no further information released regarding the circumstance leading up to the incident at this time.
