Motorcyclist Hospitalized after Car Crash in Santa Monica
SANTA MONICA, CA (February 26, 2019) – On Tuesday afternoon, a motorcyclist was injured in a car accident on 10 Freeway. The identity of the victim has not been released to the public.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened around 4:45 PM just east of Cloverfield Boulevard. Due to unknown circumstances, the motorcycle collided with a vehicle. The cause of the accident is currently unknown, as the investigation is ongoing.
First responders arrived at the scene soon after the accident. Police stated the rider suffered unknown injuries and was transferred to a nearby hospital for treatment and evaluation. The victim’s current medical condition is unclear at this time. No other injuries were reported in the collision.
