Crash in Boyle Heights Injures Motorcyclist, Delays Traffic
LOS ANGELES, CA (July 9, 2019) – A crash in Boyle Heights left a motorcyclist injured Monday afternoon.
The California Highway Patrol said the incident occurred in the southbound lanes of the 5 Freeway south of 4th street at around 2:15 p.m.
As a result of the crash, officials temporarily shut down lanes one to four of the freeway. CHP issued a SigAlert at 2:29 p.m. to give way to the investigation and cleanup. All lanes reopened at 3:18 p.m.
