Motorcycle and Car Collide on 280 Freeway in San Bruno
SAN BRUNO, CA (June 4, 2019) – A motorcyclist was hospitalized following a traffic collision with a sedan Tuesday morning in San Bruno.
The collision happened around 6:43 a.m. at the intersection of southbound 280 Freeway and northbound 380 Freeway.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a black 2007 Kawasaki motorcycle and a blue Toyota Prius collided. As a result, the rider suffered abrasions to the knee and back, but still up and walking.
Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene and took the rider to San Francisco General Hospital for proper treatment.
Both the motorcycle and the sedan sustained damages from the crash and were towed away.
It is unknown if speed, drugs and alcohol have played a role in the crash, which remains under investigation.
