BERKELEY, CA (June 17, 2019) – Paramedics hospitalized a motorcyclist after a crash on westbound 80 Freeway, Monday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place just east of Harbor Boulevard at approximately 7:44 AM. Based on an initial report, a silver Honda minivan became involved in the motorcycle incident.
 
Police located the rider down in the lanes. After that, paramedics arrived for needed medical attention. They sent the victim to Highland Hospital for a laceration to the leg, pain to the neck, and possible paralysis to the right side of the body.
 
Towing services were requested for a clearing operation in the area. However, police did not release any other information regarding the accident at this time.
