Motorcyclist Dies in Interstate 80 Traffic Collision [Berkeley, CA]

Berkeley Collision Kills One

Berkeley, CA (November 18, 2022) On Thursday afternoon, a traffic collision on Interstate 80 claimed the life of a motorcyclist.

CHP says that the Berkeley collision happened at about 1:30 p.m. near the Gilman Street onramp.

Reports say that at least 2 vehicles struck a motorcycle rider along the westbound lanes. Moreover, the collision closed three lanes.

Authorities pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene. The riders identification is withheld until the family has been notified.

Officials are investigating the fatal traffic collision and have not released additional information at this time.
