Speeding Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on SR-599
Tukwila, WA (July 30, 2020) – On Wednesday evening, a 33-year-old motorcyclist died in a crash on SR-599.
Washington State Patrol said the motorcyclist was speeding south along SR-599 when he lost control in a curve near East Marginal Way. He was ejected from his motorcycle into the adjacent lane, where he, unfortunately, was struck by a Nissan Sentra.
The Sentra then collided into the motorcycle and launched it into a guardrail.
The driver got out of the car and fled on foot. Authorities identified the suspect as a 23-year-old man from Renton.
Moreover, investigators said overspeeding caused the initial motorcycle crash. However, authorities will arrest the Sentra driver for investigation of DUI and felony hit-and-run.

What Is Next After Fatal Road Accident
While the loss of a dear one is irreversible, it is in the best interest of you and your family to be aware of what to do next.
It is crucial that the family of the victim becomes aware that they have the authority to file a wrongful death suit.
In a word, a wrongful death suit gives families the opportunity to hold parties liable for the irrevocable damages they have caused. It is a claim often brought forth by relatives of a deceased victim.
“I think the misconception is that when a loved one passes away, the insurance company and the defendant will automatically admit liability and offer all of the funds available.”
“Insurance companies will try to save money, even if it means not fully compensating a family for the wrongful death of a loved one. When a family retains an attorney immediately, it gives the family time to grieve their loss, while their attorney can start focusing on holding the negligent party accountable,” says Tyler Toomey, a seasoned attorney at Sweet Lawyers.
