Amee Van Killed Motorcycle Accident on Maple Avenue in Fresno
Fresno, CA (March 26, 2021) – On Friday, a female motorcyclist named Amee Van, 25, died in a motorcycle crash on Maple Avenue near Highway 180.
The fatal incident took place before 11:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Harvey Avenue intersection.
Officers said the woman was on Harvey Avenue and attempted to stop for the intersection; however, she didn’t stop in time.
Unfortunately, she was struck by a Chevy Tahoe traveling down Maple Avenue.
Moreover, reports said the Tahoe had the right of way. Also, they consider speeding a major factor in the accident.
Right away, rescuers took the woman to Community Regional Medical Center in critical condition.
Meanwhile, the involved driver stayed on the scene and cooperated with the police.
Officers said drugs or alcohol were believed to be factors in the accident.
