SAN DIEGO, CA (August 19, 2019) — A motorcyclist died in a collision with a car on the 15 Freeway Friday night.
 
The incident occurred in the northbound lanes of the freeway near Bernardo Center Drive. The motorcyclist collided with the car at around 7:40 p.m.
 
According to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department, the rider was taken to a hospital. However, they succumbed to their injuries.
 
The cause and circumstances leading to the crash are under investigation.
