Fatal Highway 101 Motorcycle Crash in Willits

 
Willits, CA (May 13, 2021) – On Thursday, a person died while another was injured in Highway 101 motorcycle crash.
 
The fatal crash took place minutes before 3 a.m. at the north end of Willits, wherein a car was involved.
 
Reports said two veehicles were consumed by fire in the crash.
 
The CHP officers said the motorcyclist had gone off the edge of the bridge and died on the scene.
 
Meanwhile, an air ambulance airlifted one due to critical injuries.
 
The bridge has two lanes of Highway 101 over the connector from Willits’ Main Street. Apparently, there is no median on the stretch of highway wherein the speed limit is 65 mph.
