Martin Craig Arrested after Fatal Crash on North Sandario Road in Tucson

Tucson, AZ (June 12, 2023) – Sunday afternoon, a 17-year-old male motorcyclist died in a crash on North Sandario Road and West Desert Wren Drive.

The fatal crash happened around 4:14 p.m. on June 11.

According to PCSD, the motorcyclist was traveling northbound on North Sandario Road. The Trailblazer was driven by 42-year-old Martin Craig southbound on North Sandario Road.

Craig crashed into the motorcyclist while he attempted to turn left onto West Desert Wren Drive.

The motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital, where he died.

Craig was arrested for causing death by a moving violation.
