1 Killed in Long Beach Vehicle Incident on Long Beach Boulevard and Del Amo Boulevard
LONG BEACH, CA (February 24, 2021) – Tuesday evening, a motorcyclist died in a crash on Long Beach Boulevard and Del Amo Boulevard.
According to Long Beach Police Department, the incident happened at around 7:00 p.m. Moreover, it occurred at Long Beach and Del Amo boulevards.
Reports revealed that a 29-year-old Long Beach man driving an eastbound 1997 Chevy S10 truck made a left turn towards a parking lot.
As the truck turned, the vehicle struck a 22-year-old Compton man riding a westbound 2017 Honda motorcycle.
Afterward, responders rushed the motorcyclist to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Also, the truck driver remained at the scene to cooperate with the authorities.
Furthermore, authorities do not believe that drugs, alcohol, or distracted driving were factors in the crash.
