Police Investigate Fatal Motorcycle Crash on Loop 101 in Phoenix

Phoenix, AZ (August 11, 2023) – Thursday night, a motorcyclist died in a crash on Loop 101 near Tatum Boulevard.

The fatal crash happened just before 10 p.m. on August 10.

Phoenix Police said a motorcyclist rear-ended another vehicle in the westbound lanes of Loop 101 near Tatum Boulevard. 

Another driver who witnessed the accident stopped to help the victim, who was lying on the road. However, a car attempting to avoid the witness’s car struck and killed the motorcyclist.
