Motorcyclist Critically Injured in Accident on 15 Freeway [ Cajon Pass, CA]

Unidentified Motorcyclist Hospitalized after Crash in Cajon Pass

 
CAJON PASS, CA (February 22, 2019) – Friday afternoon around 5:30 PM, a motorcyclist was struck and critically injured on the 15 Freeway near Highway 138.
 
California Highway Patrol stated the motorcyclist was driving in the No. 2 lane. Soon after, the motorcycle was clipped by a semi-truck.
 
First responders arrived and transported the victim to a nearby hospital with major injuries. The identity and medical status of the victim has not been released.
 
There has been no further information released regarding the circumstances leading up to the incident. At this time, an investigation is being conducted.
 
When you are driving next to or near a semi-truck, keep your distance. These vehicles have larger blind spots and less visibility than smaller vehicles. In addition, always scan your surroundings for other vehicles. This will prevent yourself and others from being involved in an accident.
