Motorcycle Crash in Glendale Sends Rider to Hospital with Serious Injuries
GLENDALE, AZ (August 26, 2019) – A motorcyclist was badly injured following a collision late Monday afternoon at a local intersection in Glendale, police said.
The collision happened around 5:38 p.m. near 63rd and Olive avenues.
According to Glendale police, a vehicle and a motorcycle collided for unknown reasons. The impact sent the motorcyclist down on the roadway.
Paramedics took the rider to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Glendale police had a large section of the roadway closed while they investigated.
Olive Avenue was closed from 59th to 65th avenues in both directions, and 63rd Avenue was closed both north and south of Olive Avenue.
