VICTORVILLE, CA (April 6, 2022) – Tuesday afternoon, responders airlifted a motorcyclist after a crash on La Mesa Road and Mesa Linda Avenue.
 
The incident happened at 2:53 p.m. on La Mesa Road, west of Mesa Linda Avenue.
 
Upon the Victorville City Fire’s arrival, firefighters called for a helicopter. Meanwhile, a ground ambulance transported the motorcyclist before subsequently being flown via Mercy Air to a trauma center.
 
According to the preliminary reports, the rider crashed into the back rear driver side portion of the black Acura SUV.
 
Moreover, a witness said that the rider moved on the ground by the curb and was kicking his legs. “Sounded like he was saying leave me alone and don’t touch me.”
 
Victorville City Public Works employees came and shut down La Mesa Road as deputies investigate the crash.
 
Due to the limited information available, the crash remains under active investigation.
