Injuries Sustained in Motorcycle Crash on 80 Freeway
OAKLAND, CA (May 23, 2019) – A motorcyclist was injured in a westbound crash on 80 Freeway Wednesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at 7:05 AM. In addition, the crash on 80 Freeway was near the Grand Avenue on-ramp. Based on an initial report, the victim’s white motorcycle collided with a black Toyota car.
The motorcyclist flew off and landed in the No. 4 lane. After that, the paramedics were requested for needed medical attention. Officials reported injuries were sustained by the victim. However, all conditions were said to be non-life threatening.
The authorities worked to clear the area afterward.
