Motorcycle Rear-Ends Car near Venice Boulevard
LOS ANGELES, CA (December 12, 2018) – A motorcycle rider was down in a crash on northbound 405 Freeway, Wednesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 9:19 AM, near the intersection of Venice Boulevard. Based on their report, the victim rear-ended a Toyota Prius before falling in the No. 2 and 3 lanes of the roadway. It was not yet clear what caused the rear-end accident.
The paramedics were requested for needed medical attention. They had not yet released a report regarding the condition of the rider, as well as that of the occupant of the Prius.
An SUV was at the scene and blocked the lanes to protect the motorcycle rider. Additional information will be released following the conclusion of the investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact the authorities as soon as possible.
