Santa Rosa Man Arrested in Petaluma DUI Crash
Petaluma, CA (March 18, 2024) – A motorcycle driver was injured following a Petaluma Boulevard collision Saturday night.
It was about 10:54 p.m. when the collision between an orange Dodge Charger and a motorcycle happened in the 200 block area.
Investigators said the rider was transported to a local hospital with a broken leg.
Troopers said the Dodge driven by a Santa Rosa man was traveling south on Petaluma Boulevard when it rear-ended the motorcycle.
Responding officers a DUI investigation and determined that the driver was driving the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol when the collision happened.
Furthermore, the Dodge driver showed signs of alcohol intoxication and admitted to consuming alcoholic beverages.
Later of, officers arrested the Dodge driver and booked them into the Sonoma County Jail.
