Motorcycle Driver Injured in Interstate 5 Traffic Collision [Bellingham, WA]

Traffic Collision North of Ohio Street Sends One to Hospital

Bellingham, WA (September 12, 2022) – On Sunday, a motorcycle driver sustained injuries in an Interstate 5 traffic collision.

It was about 1:30 p.m. when the traffic collision north of Ohio Street occurred involving two other vehicles.

According to the authorities, the incident happened while traffic was backed up due to a striping crew working in the southbound traffic lanes. A 1994 Dodge RAM pickup failed to stop and rear-ended the motorcycle into a 2007 Subaru Legacy. 

Afterward, the Dodge then slammed into the Subaru.

Immediately, the responding medics rushed the motorcyclist to PeaceHealth St Joseph Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

Moreover, the authorities cited the Dodge driver was cited for following too close.
