1 Person Hurt in Kansas City Motorcycle Accident on Gregory and Troost Avenue
KANSAS CITY, MO (October 17, 2024) – Wednesday morning, a startling motorcycle crash on Gregory and Troost Avenue injured one person.
The incident happened at around 9:40 a.m. when a motorcycle officer was leaving a traffic stop and collided with a southbound silver Toyota that made a left turn in front of the officer.
According to reports, the force of the crash ejected the motorcycle officer into the roadway.
Moreover, responders rushed the officer to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Furthermore, authorities confirmed that a Good Samaritan, identified as Brian Daniels, rushed to the scene and pressed an emergency button on the officer’s radio to alert authorities of the incident.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
Due to limited information, the Missouri Police Department continued investigating the crash.
