1 Hurt in Phoenix Motorcycle Accident
PHOENIX, AZ (August 29, 2019) – A person suffered critical injuries in a motorcycle accident on Thomas Road on August 23.
According to reports, a 38-year-old male motorcyclist rode west on Thomas Road about 12:40 p.m. on a 2000 Suzuki motorcycle. However, he crashed into the rear of a 2015 Toyota Corolla near Eighth Street.
The westbound Toyota on Thomas Road stopped in the curb lane before the crash due to backed-up traffic at a red light at Seventh Street. The T57-year-old female driver of the Toyota didn’t suffer any injury.
After the collision, the motorcycle then “redirected” onto private property belonging to the Phoenix Country Club.
The crash shut down the Thomas Road in both directions.
Weaving in and out of lanes is dangerous. Always stay at your lane and be aware of the presence of other motorists around you. Pay attention and consider small vehicles like motorcycles and bicycles because these are more prone to road accidents than bigger vehicles.
