64-Year-Old Male Motorcyclist Pronounced Dead after Fatal Crash on Highway 14 in Santa Clarita
Santa Clarita, CA (May 4, 2020) – Late Sunday afternoon, Leslie Trujillo was killed in a motorcycle crash on Antelope Valley Road.
California Highway Patrol first responded on the southbound lanes of the freeway at Soledad Canyon Road around 12:10 p.m., on May 3. Emergency Personnel arrived to the area shortly after.
According to reports, witnesses saw a 2016 Harley Davidson traveling at around 70 mph in the number 3 lane. There, the driver suddenly veered right and crashed into a nearby dirt embankment for unknown reasons.
The victims from Hacienda Heights identified as Leslie Trujillo, 64, and his passenger Kathleen Trujillo were both ejected from the vehicle due to the impact.
Leslie Trujillo was later pronounced dead after sustaining critical injuries. Meanwhile, Kathleen Trujillo suffered moderate injuries. Los Angeles County Fire Department officials brought her to Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital for further treatment.

Furthermore, a Sigalert was raised by 12:30 p.m., shutting down two lanes in the southbound freeway for at least 30 minutes. However, the lanes later reopened to traffic.
Moreover, CHP Officer Stephan Brandt said that the Sigalert has been revoked by 4:00 p.m.
