Mother and Twins Hospitalized, Ray Anthony Pittman Arrested in Fresno DUI Crash on Belmont and Palm Avenue

 
FRESNO, CA (February 22, 2021) – Sunday night, a mom and two twin toddlers were injured in a DUI crash on Palm Avenue involving a semi-truck.
 
According to authorities, the incident happened at around 8:00 p.m. Apparently, a semi-truck attempted to make a southbound turn from Belmont Avenue to Palm Avenue.
 
Meanwhile, a black sedan following the semi-truck slowed down, when an SUV behind it rear-ended the vehicle.
 
Reports revealed that the force of the crash pushed the sedan to rear-end the semi-trailer in front.
 
Moreover, responders transported the occupants of the sedan, a mother and her 18-month-old twins, to Community Regional Medical Center.
 
It is unknown if the big rig driver sustained injuries in the Fresno accident.
 
Furthermore, authorities arrested the SUV driver on suspicion of driving under the influence. Police later identified him as Ray Anthony Pittman, 47.
 
One of the twins, a 3-year-old boy, remains in critical condition at the hospital.
