1 Adult and 3 Children Walking to School Hit by Pickup Truck near Heacock Street and Creekside Elementary School

MORENO VALLEY, CA (September 18, 2018) – Four people, including three children, were injured Tuesday morning following a pedestrian collision on Bay Avenue near Heacock Street.

According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the incident took place shortly after 7:30 AM, the area of Creekside Elementary School. A mother, who was pushing a stroller, and her three children were walking to school when they were struck by a Toyota pickup truck.

Responding paramedics treated the four victims at the scene for non-life threatening injuries, before they were transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation. There are no updates on their current medical conditions.

Meanwhile, the pickup driver remained to cooperate with investigators. Alcohol and drugs were ruled out as possible contributing factors in the crash, which remains under investigation. No other information has been released to the public at this time.
