27-Year-Old Woman Arrested after DUI Pedestrian Crash on 11th Street
BREMERTON, WA (September 5, 2019) – Authorities arrested a 27-year-old woman after a pedestrian crash on 11th Street, Thursday morning.
According to the Bremerton Police Department, the incident happened near Naval Avenue, at about 8:30 AM. A mother and her three young children attempted to cross a marked crosswalk in the direction of Naval Avenue Elementary School. There, an eastbound minivan struck the victims.
Emergency responders transported the mother and her three children to Harrison Medical Center with minor injuries. They were later released after receiving treatment. Meanwhile, police officers arrested the minivan driver on suspicion of driving under the influence.
Bremerton Police continue to investigate the crash. Investigators encourage witnesses to cooperate as soon as possible. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
