Unidentified Victims Hospitalized after Collision on West Ramona Boulevard
MONTEREY PARK, CA (February 23, 2019) – Saturday afternoon, two unidentified victims were injured in a 3-vehicle accident on 710 Freeway.
California State Officials received calls about the crash just after 2:00 p.m. Authorities arrived to the scene on West Ramona Boulevard soon after.
Reports indicate that the three vehicles involved were identified as a Honda Pilot, a Mitsubishi and an access van.
Moreover, the circumstances leading up to the collision were not made clear at this time. However, two children including a 15-year-old boy, were reportedly suffering from serious head injuries as a result.
A male victim was also reported to have been stuck inside a vehicle. Consequently, crews on scene were having difficulty extricating the occupant. The identities and condition of the patients are not available.
The surrounding area was closed while crews worked to clean and finalize preliminary investigation. Police are still investigating the cause of this accident and more information will be provided when accessible.
