Vehicle Crash on Interstate 5 Injures Two Drivers
Everett, WA (April 08, 2021) – On Wednesday, two drivers were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 5.
The accident took place at 6:41 a.m. near Highway 526.
The 38-year-old Monroe man was southbound on the freeway in a Ford Festiva.
He attempted to change lanes to the right but swerved back and crashed into a Ford Expedition SUV.
Right away, rescuers took him to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett with serious injuries.
Meanwhile, the 20-year-old Marysville man driving the SUV sustained minor injuries but was not taken to a hospital.
Reports said a passenger was not injured in the accident.
Authorities are investigating the incident but do not suspect drugs or alcohol as factors.
