Monique Munoz, Fernando Aguirre Arrested Following Madera Pursuit Crash
MADERA, CA (October 30, 2019) — Officers arrested Monique Munoz and Fernando Aguirre following a pursuit crash at Central Madera exit and I Street on Monday.
Police initially chased a car occupied by the two who were suspects in a carjacking in Gilroy. The chase ended when the suspects’ car crashed into a guardrail. They subsequently fled on foot near Saint Joachim’s Catholic School.
Munoz ran into a neighborhood near South Park Drive and North Park Drive. On the other hand, Aguirre ran across the freeway and into a house on H Street.
Authorities contacted the school and requested a lockdown. They asked the school authorities to lift it after they arrested Munoz and Aguirre.
