2 Hospitalized in Paso Robles Auto Accident on Highway 41 near Highway 46

 
PASO ROBLES, CA (October 7, 2021) – Tuesday morning, Mondragon Estrada and Mutshnick sustained injuries in a crash on Highway 41.
 
According to authorities, the incident happened at around 6:03 a.m. on Highway 41 near Highway 46.
 
Reports revealed that a southbound Peterbuilt commercial vehicle veered over the double yellow lane. Then, it struck the left front end of a northbound Honda. The force of the crash pushed the Peterbulit towards the east roadway edge.
 
Then, it went down an embankment where it came into rest on its side, facing east. Meanwhile, the Honda came into rest on the southbound lane, facing southwest.
 
Furthermore, responders transported the Peterbuilt driver, 27-year-old Vacaville resident Mondragon Estrada to Sierra Vista Regional Hospital via Mercy air.
 
Also, paramedics rushed the Honda driver, identified as Mutshnick to Sierra Vista Regional Hospital for treatment.
 
Moreover, officials confirmed that both drivers wore seatbelts at the time of the crash.
 
Also, authorities do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the incident.
