MOJAVE, CA – One Killed in Crash on 20th Street near Proteus Road

SUV Crashes into Hill in Mojave, Fatality Reported

 
MOJAVE, CA (January 22, 2019) – At least one person was killed following a traffic collision Tuesday afternoon in Mojave.
 
The fatal collision happened around 2:34 p.m. on 20th Street, about two miles South of Proteus Road.
 
According to an initial report by the California Highway Patrol, a green Chevrolet Tahoe had crashed into a hill. Law enforcement along with paramedics responded to the scene and found at least one fatality as a result of the accident.
 
The Kern County Coroner’s Office was notified to pick up the victim’s remains and conduct a full report.
 
Further details, including the identity of the deceased, were not immediately available. The incident remains under investigation.
