Mitsubishi Passenger Injured in Fiery Crash on Interstate 15 [Rancho Cucamonga, CA]

Collision Near Foothill Boulevard Injures Young Boy

Rancho Cucamonga, CA (March 6, 2022) – On Thursday, a young boy riding a Mitsubishi Lancer sustained injuries in a fiery crash on Interstate 15.

Officers received the crash report at about 1:06 p.m. between Foothill Blvd and 4th Street exits, which also involved a white or silver Toyota Scion Tc.

According to the investigators, the two vehicles were speeding when one of the vehicles threw a water bottle.

As a result, the vehicles struck each other. They both spun and crashed into the center divider.

Luckily, everyone was able to get out safely.

However, the Scion caught fire and was fully engulfed before firefighters arrived at the scene.

A young boy riding the Mitsubishi was transported to a local hospital. Reports say he was conscious and bleeding from his head.

Moreover, the authorities are investigating if the incident was intentional or if the drivers knew each other.

No further details have been provided at this time.

Accidents can leave you or your passengers severely injured, disfigured, and permanently disabled. Common events on the road can just as swiftly become safety hazards.

To avoid an auto accident, a driver must aim high in steering. Don’t make your steering adjustments based on what is directly in front of you, but rather what is down the road. If the road is winding to the right, for example, look as far into the turn as possible. This will improve your safety and make your turns smoother.
