After Midnight Crash on 5 Freeway in Mission Hills Ends in Fatality

MISSION HILLS, CA (November 25, 2018) – At least one person was killed following an accident Sunday after midnight on 5 Freeway in Mission Hills.

The fatal incident happened around 12:02 a.m. on the southbound direction of the freeway, just South of San Fernando Mission Boulevard.

Details are sparse on who was involved and what exactly transpired, but Los Angeles Fire Department officials responded to the scene and confirmed at least one fatality as a result of the accident.

An initial log also indicated that a tent was found on the right shoulder of the on-ramp.
