Miriam Mazhindu Dies in Tragic Crash on North Central Expressway [Richardson, TX]

Richardson, TX (December 8, 2023) On Wednesday evening, 74-year-old Miriam Mazhindu of Dallas died after a tragic 2-vehicle crash on North Central Expressway.

According to the Richardson Police Department, the fatal collision happened around 8 p.m. n the 3800 block of North Central Expressway.

Reports say that a northbound Toyota Sequoia attempted to change lanes, however the vehicle struck the back of a Nissan Versa. Officials say that the Nissan may have been disabled or traveling at a low rate of speed at the time of the collision.

Authorities identified that Nissan driver as Mazhindu, medics rushed the injured victim to the hospital and was pronounced deceased at the hospital.

Meanwhile, the Toyota driver suffered serious injuries but is expected to survive.

Police are investigating the fatal 2-vehicle collision and have not released further information at this time.
