Cargo Truck Crash on Highway 101 Injures One
Carpinteria, CA (May 14, 2021) – On Thursday, one was injured in a cargo truck crash on Highway 101.
The accident took place minutes before 4 p.m. in a construction zone near the Carpinteria Avenue offramp.
Officers said at least two vehicles were involved in the crash, one of the vehicles was a white cargo truck.
The truck ended up rolling over. Smoke and gas came out of the vehicle.
It is unclear how many were injured in the crash, though officers classified it as a minor injury accident.
Meanwhile, authorities temporarily closed all lanes while emergency personnel responded to the crash.
Officers reopened all lanes by 5:15 p.m.
