The California Highway Patrol responded upon receiving crash reports at around 3:10 p.m on April 30. Dispatched officers arrived on northbound 101 south of Myers Flat, shortly after.
According to reports, two unidentified vehicles collided at mile marker 26 on northbound 101 south of Myers Flat. However, the cause of this collision and the sequence of events is still under investigation.
As a result, officers closed the northbound lanes and converted into one southbound lane to allow northbound traffic. However, the area has since re-opened after cleanup and preliminary duties.
