CHP Investigates a Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 101 North of Redway

 
Humboldt County, CA (June 11, 2021) – Friday afternoon, CHP investigated a minor injury multi-vehicle crash on Highway 101 north of Redway.
 
The Humboldt County crash happened at around 1:22 p.m. on June 11.
 
A dispatcher called for multiple agencies including Southern Humboldt County Technical Rescue to respond to a multiple vehicle accident with one vehicle off the roadway around mile marker 16 on Hwy 101 north of the Dean Creek exit to Redway.
 
According to the CHP Traffic Incident Information Page, the collision was a minor injury accident. A white pickup and a semi collided.
 
Moreover, there was also a red sedan and possibly a second pickup involved. The red sedan ended up in the creek around 90′ from the highway.
 
Further investigation is ongoing.
