Santa Barbara Multi-Vehicle Accident on Santa Barbara Highway 135 near Elkhorn Estates

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, CA (December 21, 2022) – Tuesday afternoon, a three-vehicle crash on Santa Barbara Highway 135 led to injuries.

The incident occurred at about 4:45 p.m. on Santa Barbara Highway 135 near Elkhorn Estates.

According to reports, the multiple rollover crash involved at least three cars.

Then, SBC Fire extracted an occupant with minor injuries from their car.

CHP confirmed that a tan Honda hit a white SUV. The initial crash possibly caused the multiple-car crash and car rollover of a third-party white Chevy.

Meanwhile, CHP Dispatch received a call about one of the vehicles driving recklessly before the crash.

Officers said that some individuals from the accident possibly walked alongside the highway.

Furthermore, officers said that the white Chevy involved in the crash rolled over on its side.

Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
