Garberville Auto Accident on Sprowl Creek Road and US Highway 101

GARBERVILLE, CA (October 9, 2024) – Monday afternoon, a traffic crash on Sprowl Creek Road and US Highway 101 led to minor injuries.

The incident happened at 4:53 p.m. on Sprowl Creek Road, just off US Highway 101.

Initial reports stated that an adult female driver crashed the vehicle into the building. Emergency responders arrived at the scene, and Redwood Towing was called shortly after 5:00 p.m. to remove the vehicle.

A bystander suggested that the car might have gotten stuck on a parking block, and while attempting to free it, the driver accidentally accelerated into the corner of the building. A CHP officer on site, along with SoHum Health personnel, was assessing the building’s damage after speaking with the driver.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
