Injuries Sustained in Butte County Multi-Vehicle Accident on Highway 99 near Neal Road
BUTTE COUNTY, CA (September 17, 2024) – Monday morning, an alarming 3-vehicle crash on Highway 99 near Neal Road led to minor injuries.
The incident involving three vehicles that stalled traffic occurred at about 9:30 a.m. on northbound Highway 99 near Neal Road.
One lane was partially closed to accommodate emergency vehicles.
Drivers are advised to use caution when passing through the area. Caltrans announced they will be conducting maintenance on Highway 99, approximately one mile north of Highway 162. The work will involve grinding and repaving sections of asphalt as part of ongoing road repairs.
