Hit-and-Run Car Involved in Fiery Collision near Rosecrans Avenue
NORWALK, CA (March 5, 2019) – A minivan caught fire in a hit-and-run crash on northbound 605 Freeway, Tuesday evening.
According to CHP, the collision took place at 9:50 PM near Rosecrans Avenue. Based on an initial report, a Honda Odyssey struck a minivan and then fled the scene of the accident. Soon after, the minivan caught fire.
The paramedics were requested for needed medical attention. They confirmed that were injuries sustained in the incident, but specific details were not yet released.
The minivan was seen with major front-end damage. The HOV, No. 1 and 2 lanes were closed due to the commotion. Towing services were requested for a clearing operation was conducted in the area. In addition, an investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the accident.
