Deputies Arrests Brett Huber in Fatal DWI Collision on Tuckerton Road
Harris County, TX (July 25, 2023) On Sunday evening, Minh Tran was killed in a suspected DUI crash on Greenhouse Road.
Harris County sheriff‘s deputies say that the fatal DWI collision happened around 8:45 p.m. at the intersection with Tuckerton Road.
Reports say that Brett Huber was driving a black Ford F-350 truck that failed to stop at a red light and crashed into a northbound white Toyota Sienna, driven by Minh Tran.
Authorities say that Tran died due to the collision and was pronounced dead at the scene, while a 14-year-old male passenger on the Toyota suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to a hospital.
Deputies say that Huber was showing signs of impairment at the time of the fatal collision. Huber sustained injuries due to the collision and was taken to the hospital as well.
HCSO charged Brett Huber with intoxication manslaughter and intoxication assault with a vehicle – serious bodily injury.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division is investigating the fatal DWI collision.
