Milanes Felipe of Pecos Injured in Fatal Collision on Interstate Business 20 [Ward County, TX]

Ward County, TX (August 5, 2024) – 59-year-old Milanes Felipe of Pecos was injured in a deadly collision on Interstate Business 20 Friday morning.

It was about 6:30 a.m. when the two-vehicle crash happened at mile marker 228.

Troopers said Felipe was driving an eastbound 2012 Kenworth while Arnold Ray, 45, of Murchison, Texas, was westbound in a 2021 Ram 2500.

The accident report stated Ray failed to drive in a single lane and struck Felipe in the eastbound lane.

Sadly, Ray was killed at the crash scene and Felipe was transported to the Reeves County Hospital with minor injuries.

In the meantime, the authorities are investigating this fatal collision.
