Miguel Valdovines of Wenatchee Injured in DUI Collision on State Route 28 [Wenatchee, WA]

Wenatchee, WA (September 19, 2023) – Just before 10 p.m. on Tuesday, 46-year-old Miguel Valdovines of Wenatchee sustained injuries following a DUI collision on State Route 28.

Investigating officers said 42-year-old William Freeze was driving under the influence while eastbound on the freeway. Officers said he failed to stop in time for the vehicles waiting for traffic control at a construction zone.

Freeze rear-ended Valdovines who then collided with 37-year-old Trever Wood of Rock Island’s vehicle. As a result, Wood’s vehicle per-ended 76-year-old Barb Asher of Ephrata and Asher’s vehicle was then pushed into 72-year-old Brenda Chambers‘ car.

The accident report stated that only Freeze and Valdovines were injured in the collision.
