Miguel Rios Ledesma Killed in 60 Freeway Accident
Pomona, CA (February 24, 2022) – On Wednesday, 56-year-old Miguel Rios Ledesma of Huntington Park sustained fatal injuries in a 60 Freeway pedestrian accident.
Officers responded to the crash scene at about 2:20 a.m. east of the 605 Freeway.
Investigators said that Ledesma was driving a 2005 Ford Escape that collided into the center divider and rested in the number 2 lane.
Then, he got out of his vehicle and stood beside his SUVs driver’s door.
Suddenly, a 2012 Toyota Highlander struck Ledesma and his vehicle.
Responding officers pronounced Ledesma dead at the scene.
Moreover, the Highlander driver did not sustain injuries and remained at the scene. Both the Highlander driver and the other motorist whose vehicle ran over debris, cooperated with the officers’ investigation..
