Miguel Gonzalez Dead in Duarte Auto Accident on Shamrock Avenue
DUARTE, CA (July 21, 2020) – Early Saturday night, Miguel Colon Gonzalez, 29, died in a two-vehicle crash on Shamrock Avenue in Duarte.
The incident, involving a sedan and an ice cream truck, happened at 6:12 p.m. in the 1900 block of South Shamrock Avenue.
According to some witnesses, a Honda Civic collided with the ice cream truck and that one person sustained major injuries.
The California Highway Patrol confirmed that a person died at the scene.
However, the officers at the CHP’s Traffic Management Center couldn’t confirm whether the deceased rode the sedan or not.
The circumstances that have led up to the crash is yet to be disclosed.
