Driver Michellene Marie Rougier Killed in Highway 130 Collision [Travis County, TX]

HWY 130 Fatal Collision Under Investigation

Travis County, TX (May 29, 2024) – 55-year-old Michellene Marie Rougier was killed and her passenger was injured in a Highway 130 collision Tuesday.

Troopers said Rougier was traveling at the 10300 block of the freeway. She was driving a 2008 Ford F-350 that was towing a two-axle flatbed trailer. However, the truck’s rear right tire blew out and Rougier lost control and crashed.

Rougier sadly died at the scene. 

The paramedics took her passenger to a medical facility in Hays County.

Texas DPS is investigating this fatal collision.
