Michelle Johnson of Woodland Dies in Bicycle Accident on Woodland Avenue [Modesto, CA]

Modesto, CA (March 15, 2022) – On Sunday, 38-year-old Michelle Johnson sustained fatal injuries in a bicycle accident on Woodland Avenue.

It was about 5:45 p.m. when the fatal incident happened at Yellowstone Avenue.

Officers say a 2017 Acura ILX struck Johnson as she crossed the street on her bicycle.

Immediately, the paramedics rushed Johnson to the hospital where she died from her injuries. 

Moreover, officers arrested the Acura driver, 51-year-old Christina Castillo, on suspicion of DUI.

The authorities said they are still investigating this fatal incident.
